Multiple People

Well I found out that my camera sucks, both of these pictures are really pixleated, and it makes the pictures look bad. Along with my okay skills in Photoshop. I only got 6 in the first one because if i added another one, it would have looked bad, i think its because i picked such a small area to work with.

Artist Emulation: Anthony Goicolea

His vision that he wants to convey in his Photos would be the Adolescence point of view and have the child like feel to all his pictures, where he puts himself into oddball scenes from his past memories. He uses Costumes, wigs, make-up etc... to create theses scenes to make himself look a little different from the others. When "creating" these pictures, it can take up to weeks to either take the perfect picture to the best of his ability then maybe another week to put it all together in Photo-shop. He himself does everything from designing these scenes to putting the picture together in the end. His greatest inspiration is Cindy Sherman, who also takes pictures of herself, but she takes only one and in the scene of her being in the "feminist" roles. He then got the idea to take pictures of himself. He creates pictures of his past where it looks like he could be anywhere from age 10 to 19. When actually he is in his late 30's, but that is fixed well with Makeup and the costumes.

Color Psychology

Brown: The inside of the bottle is see through the table witch is brown. I thought it as (inside the bottle) that its with holding emotions and having them bottled up.
Green:The background is mostly a greenish color, of the walls of Noodles and Co. It makes the place have a calm, relaxing feeling to the place and makes it easier to eat at.
Red: Most people look at the color red as a bad thing, but when I took this picture it made think of love more then anger, and pink is the "thought of love" over red. And that's what I think a candle would represent.
Yellow: I played around in Photoshop to make the two flowers stand out more then the background to get the more calm feeling, though when looking at the picture it kind of makes you look more towards the background because yellow isn't that pleasing to the eyes.

Color on the Couch

Red: The most emotionally intense color, associated with anger and bad thoughts, also faster heartbeats and breathing. Pink is associated with thoughts of calm, protection, warmth and nurture; to slow down irritation and aggression. Also has the feeling of love, while red is connected with sexuality. Also the most caught by the eye.

Orange: Mostly positive effects, reduces self pity, lack of self work and unwillingness to forgive. Terrific antidepressant.

Yellow: Happy, cheerful and uplifting color. Associated with discernment, memory, clear thinking, decision-making and good judgment. Building self-confidence and encourages optimism. Where as a dull yellow can bring the feelings of fear. Also can be considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more in yellow rooms and babies will cry more. Most difficult color on the eyes can be overpowering if overused and can also speed up metabolism.

Green: Feelings of comfort, laziness, relaxation, calmness, helps with balance and soothing emotions. Connects us with nature and the natural feelings. The easiest color on the eyes and can improve vision. When darker or grayer have opposite effects. Was once worn by brides to symbolize fertility, where dark green is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth.

Blue: Night, feelings of relaxation and calmness. Light blues feel away from the day and can be helpful in getting rid of insomnia. Helps with mental control, clarity and creativity. When darker blues can be depressing. Blue can also be cold and depression also can be a symbol of loyalty. Most productive in blue rooms

Purple: Are used in the care of mental nervous disorders. Indigo is associated with the right side of the brain; intuition and imagination. Violet; bringing peace and combating shock and fear, with a cleansing effect with emotional disturbances. Relating to sensitivity to beauty, high ideals and creativity, spirituality, and compassion. Can also be referred to royalty, luxury, wealth, and sophistication. Very feminine and romantic also can appear artificial.

Brown: Earth, feelings of stability and security. Sometimes can be associated with withholding emotion and wanted to get away from the world. Light brown implies genuineness, can also be sad and wishful. Men are more adaptable to say it’s their favorite color.

Black: Comforting and protective, mysterious and connected with silence and death, passive and prevents us from growing and changing. Authority and power. Popular in fashion it makes people appear thinner. Implies submission or the look of “evil”

White: Purity, innocence, feelings of peace and comfort while it dispels shock and despair, freedom and uncluttered openness. Too much; cold and isolation. Summer color, light, neutral and goes with everything. Also implies sterility.

Gray: Independence and self-reliance, thought as a negative color, can be evasion and non-commitment. Indicates separation, lack of involvement and ultimately loneliness.
